Megan Johnson: Senior Executive Director
I moved to Hayward in the summer of 2015 after completing my Associates degree in Business Management and started with Aspen Acres in November. In March of 2018, I accepted the Administrator position. In 2022, received my Dementia Care Pathway Certificate. At the end of 2022, I accepted a position within the company to have oversight of a handful of facilities. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our chocolate lab and our two daughters. We enjoy anything outdoors especially camping, fishing, dirt track racing and getting dirty.

    JoAn Moncel: Registered Nurse
    I was born and raised in Hayward as was my husband of 47 years. I have 2 children and 8 grandchildren. I have worked as an RN in the Hayward Community for over 40 years. I have enjoyed a variety of RN positions over the years including in the clinics, emergency and operating room, on the medical surgical unit and most recently working for Regional Hospice Services. I thoroughly enjoy being a nurse in my community. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, knitting, reading and volunteering at Element Church.

    Gabby Christian: Administrator
    I was raised in Butternut, Wisconsin where I currently live with my husband and our two labs, Waylon and Willie. I graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 2018 with my Associates degree in Physical Therapy, and I am currently attending Rasmussen University for my Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. In October 2022, I accepted a position at Aspen Acres. Shortly after I completed the Administrator Certification Course to become the Administrator. In my free time, I like to spend time with my husband and our dogs, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and taking side by side trips. You’ll find me anywhere outdoors!

    Kayla Pennings: Assistant Administrator

    I was raised in Sheboygan County. My fiance and our two daughters recently moved to the area, but I have traveled up to the Hayward area most of my life. I have an extensive background in Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease training along with human resources, staff management, and nurse scheduling. I have been blessed to accept the Assistant Administrator position while in the transition of moving. I’m excited to share my knowledge with the Hayward community and surrounding areas! In my free time, I like to go fishing, four-wheeling, and spending time with my family.
